Our Story:
We are a husband and wife team that decided after 14 years of kitchen experience and education to open our own business. We started BATTER:REMIXED to combine two things that we love, baking and music. Whether it's listening to our favorite bands, or having carefree dance parties with our daughter, we enjoy the fun and energy that music brings into our lives. We try to incorporate this into our work by "remixing" every day ingredients and creating new and creative flavor profiles while still preserving the classics. We believe that doing so leads to a more fun and unique product for you.
We have both attended Johnson & Wales University in Denver, CO. Tonia studied Culinary Arts and Christopher studied Baking and Pastry. Prior to culinary school Tonia competed in baking and pastry competitions through the SkillsUSA program. She won 1st place in the state of Michigan, and 13th in the country earning a partial scholarship to college. We both also have restaurant management experience.
When working with us you can expect a fun, creative, personal, yet affordable product. We will do everything we can to produce the bakery products, specialty chocolates, and treats that you want and stay within your budget. We have a lot of experience working with food allergens and have the ability to work around any allergies you or your guests may have.

All of our products are made from scratch, by hand, and with you in mind. We are a local company supporting local companies. We strive to help boost our local economy, so whether it's fruits, vegetables, tools, or any other ingredients or supplies we may need, where we can buy local, we do.

We are very educated in food allergens and how they work. We will gladly work with any food allergies that you or your party guests have. Whether it be egg, gluten, dairy, or any other allergy, discuss it with us and we will do everything that we can to ensure that you have a safe product for you and your loved ones.
